Basic Assignments Work schedule to be determined, but Monday through Friday preferred. Flexible hours are available; work is to be done at the branch. Occasional weekend or evening work may be needed.

Major Functions Under the direction of the Director of Development, The Administrative Assistant provides support for our Community Support Campaign. Duties include data entry and database management, processing of donor pledges and payments, , data tracking and statistics, A/R, production of regular reports, general office tasks, communication with donors, staff and participants, provision of excellent customer service (written and verbal), and attendance at required meetings and events. Other clerical and administrative tasks may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications This position requires a minimum of an Associate degree in college and three or more years experience in administrative clerical work, as well as a professional attitude, and excellent customer service skills. Also crucial are strong computer skills, a moderate to high proficiency level in word processing, working with spreadsheets, database management and Outlook. Must have the ability to problem solve, make good decisions, prioritize and manage multiple tasks. In addition, key qualities include tact, desire to function as an active member of staff teams, attention to detail, accuracy, patience, strong communication skills, and an understanding of the YMCA�s mission and core values.
