Basic Assignments The El Camino YMCA, located in the heart of Silicon Valley in Mountain View, California, is seeking a Member Services Associate. With more than 13,000 members, we serve communities in the Mountain View / Los Altos area with a fitness center, health programs, aquatics, sports, and a multitude of programs for youth and families. Our goal is to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities through positive programming and community involvement. We are dedicated to serving youth and adults from very diverse backgrounds. Flexible schedules available.

Major Functions A crucial part of the Member Services Department, the Member Services Associate�s number one priority is offering excellent service to members and prospective members in person and over the phone in a fast-pace, customer-centered environment. Along with the main duties at the Welcome Center and Member Services desks, the Member Services Associate will take on additional special projects to support the members, programs, and staff. The Member Services Associate will be expected to build relationships with members and offer a welcoming environment to everyone who walks through our doors.

Qualifications Excellent communication skills, phone skills, and an understanding of computers are a must. The Member Services Associate must be able to multitask and be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision. Experience working with people and a basic understanding of fitness or non-profit organizations are a plus. Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills are also a plus.
