Basic Assignments El Camino YMCA, 40 hours per week, Tuesday thru Saturday, exact schedule to be determined.

Major Functions � Ensures collection of all appropriate membership fees.
� Run various membership reports and ensure that bills and mailings (i.e., membership renewal reminders, bank draft/credit card reject notices, credit card expiration notices) are printed and mailed in a timely fashion.
� Assist with an annual audit of membership data files.
� Maintain filing of Membership and other paperwork.
� The incumbent must be well organized, careful with figures, able to maintain confidential data, and be able to take initiative when needed.

Qualifications � Experience in a similar position is preferred; work experience at a non-profit is helpful.
� Must be proficient in the use of personal computers & related software applications. Experience with desktop publishing software and website maintenance preferred.
� Strong communication (both oral and written) is required.
� Organizational skills and multi-task orientation are needed.
� Demonstrated capacity to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
� Ability to reason and problem-solve.
� General knowledge of office equipment (i.e. � fax machine, copier, printer, etc.).
� Experience with AS 400 preferred.
� An Associate�s or Bachelor�s Degree in a related field is preferred or a high school (or GED) with several years of experience may substitute for a degree.
� This position is considered to have a supervisory or disciplinary relationship over minors.
