Basic Assignments Under the guidance of the Aquatics Director, this position executes specific duties relating to the teaching of Swim Lessons to youth and adults.

Major Functions -This position is responsible for the safety and well-being of the East Palo Alto YMCA swim lesson program and its constituents.
-Teaching water safety and basic to advanced swimming skills.
-Regular checks and testing will be done under the supervision of our Aquatics Director.
-Communication with staff will be a key function.

Qualifications Experience and swim instructor certifications preferred.
Training is available.
